Taavi Samaraweera, a student from St. Thomas College, Mt. Lavinia has achieved a remarkable 11th place in the world table tennis rankings in the Under-11 category.
This marks the highest world ranking ever achieved by a Sri Lankan table tennis player, regardless of age or gender, making it a significant landmark in the country’s table tennis history.
Furthermore to this achievement, Taavi also secured the 67th position in the world rankings for the Under-13 category, showcasing his excellent talent and potential.
