Sysco Labs delivered an excellent performance at the President’s Challenge Trophy – Mercantile Swimming Championship 2025, detained recently at the Thurstan College Swimming Pool Complex, securing a total of seven medals – four Gold, one Silver, and two Bronze.
Competing against 31 organisations, Sysco Labs was placed 10th overall and ranked first among IT companies, a remarkable accomplishment for the team.
Top performers contained within Charya Dharmadasa, who gained three Gold medals in the 25 m backstroke, breaststroke, and freestyle (Championship events); Isuru Walpita Gamage, who claimed Gold in the 25 m butterfly (Novices); Chathura Lakmal Thalapalage, who got Silver in the 25 m freestyle and Bronze in the 25 m breaststroke (Novices); and Upeksha Fernando, who secured Bronze in the 100 m individual medley (Novices).
