The Snowdon Ultra 50 mile 2025 Trail Running event organized by GB Ultras was held in the United Kingdom recently. The race traversed Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon), the highest mountain in Wales, UK, at 1085m above sea level, and two other mountains, with a total elevation gain of 3,610m+. 386 competitors participated in the race. Danushka managed to win eighth place in the men’s 20-24 age group. The specialty of the race is that gold medals are awarded to the first two hundred finishers. Dhanushka completed the 76 km distance in 14 hours 30 minutes and 57 seconds, finishing 143rd in the overall age group.
After this race, Dhanushka is scheduled to participate in the 144 km Puglia by UTMB race, which will be held in Puglia, Italy, in November, across Europe’s longest plateau.
