Sri Lankan athletes invited to 2026 Southeast Asian Youth Games

Sri Lankan athletes have also been invited to participate in the 2026 Southeast Asian Youth Games (SEA Plus Youth Games) to be held in Manila, the Philippines from December 2-14 this year.
A statement issued by the National Olympic Committee stated that Sri Lanka has also been invited.
Athletes from 11 Southeast Asian countries and 12 invited Asian countries are reported to be participating in the Games.
The invited Asian countries include Bhutan, Japan, Kyrgyzstan, Nepal, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, South Korea, and Taiwan.
The Games have been organized to enhance the skills of young athletes in the Asian region.
