Sri Lanka will field a two-member depending for the Galaxy Entertainment Macau International Marathon event, which will be held on December 1 in Macau City.
Over 10,000 top long-distance runners both Men and Women from Asia and other regions are set to take part in this event.
Actually, the Men’s and Women’s marathon Gold Medallists of the 2024 National Sports Games Thalawarige Ratnapala and Wathsala Madushani left for Macau yesterday along with their coach to participate in this meet.
The events that are contained within in this meet are the full marathon (Men’s and Women’s), half marathon (Men’s and Women’s) and mini marathon (Men’s and Women’s).
The winners of the Macau International Marathon (Men’s and Women’s) will obtain US $40,000 each.
