Sonal Dinusha managed to record a very impressive catch on the 3rd day of the first unofficial Test match between the touring Sri Lanka A team and the Australia A team.

Batting first in this match that started in Darwin, the Sri Lanka team managed to score 272 runs in the first innings after being all out. Sonal Dinusha, who was engaged in a magnificent century innings, managed to score 105 runs not out in 148 balls.

In response, the Australia A team scored 486 runs in the first innings after being all out. Nathan McSweeney and Liam Scott scored 94 runs each.

Sonal Dinusha, who showed great skill with both bat and ball, took 4 wickets. Pramod Madushan took 3 wickets and Nishan Peiris took 2 wickets.

At the end of the third day, Sri Lanka, playing their second innings, had lost one wicket and scored 49 runs.
