RPICS Colombo

The R. Premadasa International Cricket Stadium (RPICS) in Colombo was opened last Friday (28 Nov.) to provide accommodations members of the public who were displaced after their homes were submerged by floodwaters.

SLC has initiated the administrative staff of the RPICS to work closely with Government officials to ensure the smooth and efficient functioning of the relief centre.

SLC has also initiated providing daily meal packets to sustenance the relief efforts. The program, which commenced on Saturday, ensures that meal packs are handed over each day to the Government’s official relief distribution centres to support affected communities.
