After scoring a match-winning century against Australia in the recent match, Sri Lanka opener Pathum Nissanka has moved up three places to third in the latest ICC Men’s T20I batting rankings.
Nissanka’s unbeaten 52-ball century in the Sri Lanka-Australia match in Kandy not only confirmed Sri Lanka’s qualification for the Super Eights but also provided a significant boost in the rankings. With 786 rating points, Pathum Nissanka has surpassed India’s Tilak Verma and Pakistan’s Sahibzada Farhan.
