Sri Lankan athletes who represented the 2024 Paris Olympics, Aruna Darshana, Kyle Abeysinghe, Dilhani Lekamge, Ganga Seneviratne and Viren Netthasinghe were welcomed and presented with the OLY honorary letter by World Olympians Association and were handed over certificates by Sri Lanka Olympians in their 7th General Assembly Meeting and get together which was held in recent times at Sports Ministry Auditorium, Colombo.
The Paris Olympic athletes also received gold pound each obtainable by Sri Lanka Olympians Association and its President Sriyani Kulawansa OLY and senior Olympians handed over gold pounds to new Olympians.
In addition Allianz Insurance Senior Manager Varuna Hegoda, presented Health Insurance to Olympians for the fourth consecutive time. CBL also gave gift pack and T- shirt for the each Olympian on this occasion.
