Malaysian rugby captain Syarif Nurhidayat Muzhaimey is assured his team can achieve under pressure as they get ready to face Sri Lanka in a crucial Asia Rugby Championship (ARC) playoff 19 April.
The match, set for Colombo’s Racecourse Stadium, will regulate which team advances to the ARC top tier later this year.
Syarif said the squad has made strong growth throughout training camps and hopes their tactical execution will be sharp on game day.
Naturalised Fijians Samuela Tamanisau and Etonia Vaqa Saukuru are part of the squad, with the final lineup to be named today (15).
Sri Lanka has also named a 35-member squad, which will be condensed to 25 ahead of the match.
