Glenn Phillips of the Colombo Strikers has been fined 20 present of his match fee and handed a demerit point for breaching Article 2.2 of the Code of Conduct of the Lanka Premier League during a game between the Colombo Strikers and Kandy Falcons played on July 18.
The player was reported by the officiating umpires for abuse of cricket equipment or clothing, ground equipment, or fixtures and fittings during the match, which is a Level 1 offense.
Phillips, at the inquiry, admitted the offense.
