The ADNOC Marathon was held in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, recently, where 98 teams competed in the mixed race event, and it is a special thing that Sri Lanka’s Indika Gamage won the silver medal and won the tenth place out of 271 teams in the entire tournament. The total distance was 42KM. It took 03 hours 09 minutes 29 seconds to complete it. This tournament consisted of three categories, namely, men’s division, women’s division and mixed race event. There were 42KM, 10KM, 5KM, 2KM events for this tournament and this tournament is held annually. This time, this tournament is organized by the Abu Dhabi Sports Association and ADNOC. Over 37,000 athletes from over 80 countries participated in this event.
