India became the team to win the most consecutive ICC limited-overs matches. This was by winning all the matches held so far in this year’s Twenty20 World Cup. In which India has managed to win all the matches held since the 2024 Twenty20 World Cup, winning 16 consecutive matches.
The previous record holder was Australia, who had won 15 matches from the 2006 Champions Trophy to the 2007 World Cup.
