Congratulations to the Sri Lanka Netball Team from the Prime Minister

The team participating in the Asian Netball Championship held in India today (14) met the Prime Minister Dr. Harini Amarasuriya.

The Prime Minister engaged in a friendly discussion with the players of the team and congratulated them for their victory.

Dulangi Vannithilaka will be the team leader this year, coach Deepi Dhana Prasadi, manager Padmini Horanage, president of the Asian Netball Association Lakshmi Victoria, team doctor Dr. Lal Ekanayake, and convenor Manoj Darshana will join the team.

For the first time, 14 Asian countries will come together for this championship. The opening ceremony of this year’s tournament will be held on October 17 at 3:00 pm and the tournament will be held from October 18 to 27 in Bangalore, India.

The captain of the team is Dulangi Vannithilaka, the rest of the players are Hasita Mendis, Rashmi Divyanjali, Gayangali Amarawansa, Thishala Algama, Shanika Perera, Gayani Dissanayake, Gayatri Kaushalya, Suseema Bandara, Sachini Rodrigo, Malmi Hettiarachi, Chalini Neesha.
