The University of Colombo Recreational & Welfare Society, in collaboration with the Department of Physical Education, will be organizing the “CHALLENGER 2025” All Island Age Group Badminton Championship for the second consecutive year. The tournament will be held on 26th, 27th, 28th, 29th and 30th December 2025 at the University of Colombo Indoor Stadium.
Following the success of last year’s event, we expect over 800 school-level players and more than 1,500 spectators to participate and attend throughout the tournament. As the final All Island Age Group Championship of the 2025 calendar year, this event will create an excellent platform for emerging young players to showcase their skills at a national level.
The championship will be conducted under the age categories of Under 08, Under 10, Under 12, Under 14 and Under 16, and entries will close on 15th December 2025.
