The inter-school cricket tournament between Rajasinghe Central College, Ruwanwella and Pinnawala Central College is set to be held for the second time as the Battle of the Blue and Meroon. The match will be held on Saturday, May 31 at the Kegalle Public Stadium at 8.30 am and will be a one-day limited overs tournament.
In conjunction with the tournament, the uniform introduction ceremony for the players of Ruwanwella Rajasinghe Central College was held at the school premises recently. The event was attended by the Principal of Ruwanwella Rajasinghe Central College, Lasantha Manatunga, the school cricket team captain Niranjan Bandara, the Secretary of the Old Students’ Association, Wimal Attanayake, the Secretary and Convener of the Rajasinghe Cricket Committee, Pubudu Balasuriya, the Coach Thusitha Ananda and many parents.
The sponsors for the introduction of these uniforms are Navil Enterprises Private Limited and Expo Lanka Logistics.
