In an all-Sri Lankan significant encounter, Bishman Balaratnaraja and Naqeeb Hussain emerged doubles champions in the boys category of the ATF Boys & Girls Week 1 Tennis Championship when they beaten Rehan Gunawardena, the boys’ singles champion, and Jamal Sabry in the final played at the SLTA tennis courts in Greenpath, Colombo, yesterday. The champion doubles pair, having approved the first, struck back to come out on top in the second and third sets to clinch the title.
