The Army Inter-Regiment Table Tennis Tournament – 2024, organised by the Sri Lanka Army Table Tennis Committee, took place at the Panagoda Army Indoor Stadium from 27 to 29 August 2024. The event featured over 50 athletes from 11 teams representing 8 Regiments.
In the men’s and women’s categories, the Sri Lanka Signal Corps emerged victorious. Gajaba Regiment secured the runners-up position in the men’s category, while the Sri Lanka Army Women’s Corps team took second place in the women’s category.
Infantryman U.N. Ranasinghe of the Gajaba Regiment was recognised as the best player in the men’s category, and Signal Woman K.H. Pitigala of the Sri Lanka Signal Corps was honoured as the best player in the women’s category.
Chief of Staff Major General Rohitha Aluvihare graced the awarding ceremony as the Chief Guest.
