Sri Lanka junior boys tennis team joins the Asia Oceania final selection tournament.
The participating team engaged in training at the Sri Lanka Tennis Association sports ground.
The Asia Oceania final selection tournament of the World Junior Tennis Tournament conducted by the International Tennis Federation will be held in the city of Kuching, Malaysia.
The matches are scheduled to be held from the twenty-fifth to the thirtieth of this month.
Recently, Sri Lanka and India had the opportunity to play the final selection matches in the under-14 selection tournament held in Sri Lanka with the participation of twenty one countries.
A Sri Lankan boys team has achieved that opportunity only after twelve years.
Risith Somaratne of Ananda Vidyalaya Colombo, Aslim de Silva of St. Peter’s Vidyalaya and Mayuran Kuberan of St. Peter’s Vidyalaya are the three young players participating in the tournament.
