An inspection tour was conducted yesterday under the patronage of the Minister of Youth Affairs and Sports, Sunil Kumara Gamage, to construct a swimming pool for the general use of all sportsmen and sportswomen in place of the diving pool built in 2012 at Jaffna Central College, which was closed for almost 12 years.
Member of Parliament K. Ilankumaran and Director General of the Department of Sports Development, V. Premachandhiran participated in this event.
