The proceeds from the 95th Sulohita Sangrama Cricket Match held between Ananda College and Nalanda College, Colombo, were used to fund the sports development fund of the two schools, to pay tribute to all the sponsors who sponsored the cricket match, and to inform the sponsors about the sponsorship opportunities for the 2026 Sulohita Sangrama. The event, “Maroons Salutation & The Ground Breaker”, was held at the Cinnamon Grand Hotel yesterday (20).
The Joint Organizing Committee of the Sulohita Sangrama “is organizing the Sulohita Sangrama to raise funds for the development of sports in Ananda and Nalanda Colleges. Accordingly, Rs. 25 million was donated from the funds raised from the 95th Sulohita Sangrama Cricket Tournament for the development of sports in Ananda and Nalanda Colleges.
The official tickets for the 96th Sulohita Sangrama to be held on February 27, 28 and March 01, 2026 were also issued at the same time. At the event, tickets were symbolically presented to renowned Anandian veteran cricketer Brendan Kuruppu and renowned Nalandian veteran cricketer Hemantha Devapriya.
