The Ministry of Sports managed to get 02 international standard Olympic level Blue Polytan Astro hockey artificial turfs from the Asian Hockey Federation for the Colombo and Matale hockey stadiums.
The signing of the MoU for that took place on December 15 in Malaysia.
On behalf of the Government of Sri Lanka, the Director General of Sports, Professor Rear Admiral Shemal Fernando, and on behalf of the Asian Hockey Federation, its President Fumio Ogura, signed the MoU.
